In industrial manufacturing, a successful equipment upgrade depends on more than designing a solution that works on paper. Before committing to fabrication, engineers need confidence that new components will fit correctly, function as intended, and improve the production process.
That challenge became especially important during the development of a new cover for a tub grinder. As the cover was redesigned, it became clear that the existing grinding fixture mounting system could not simply transfer to the new design. An entirely new mounting and leveling system was needed.
