NO. This is big misunderstanding in the 3D printer world. There is actually caselaw and federal statutes (both in the US and Canada) that prevent the manufacturer from invalidating the warranty.

We have purchased Fortus® and Dimension® printers for our in-house evaluation of materials. Please see our compatibility chart on our installation page.

We have also partnered with several large companies who have Stratasys® printers and they have beta tested all of our formulations. We started evaluating materials in late 2015 and launched our first grades June 2017 - so we have a lot of time and effort into assuring these filaments work in your printer. Plus - we have a 100% money back guarantee that should help assure you that we stand behind our products.

Triton ABS+GF

Triton3D ABS-GF is 100% compatible with Stratasys® Fortus® printer using the ABS-M30 EEPROM Chip (provided with your order). TriMax™ GF-ABS is a high-performance glass fiber reinforced ABS filament ideal for anyone that desires a structural component with high modulus, excellent surface quality, dimensional stability, and ease of printing. Made using Sabic® MG-94 premium ABS and 10% glass fiber reinforcement. We performed hundreds of hours of testing on this grade in Fortus® printers - both on our in-house printers and with outside beta testers. Due to the abrasive nature of glass fiber, you should anticipate a 50% reduction in tip-life due to higher wear rates vs. unfilled ABS.

We provide the EEPROM chip for your printer (Classic and Plus Style Chip).  All you need to do is load your canister, install the chip, and start printing! [Canister Loading Instructions]

MADE IN THE USA

We manufacture all of our filaments in our 68,000 ft² manufacturing facility (located in Grand Rapids, Michigan) using state-of-the-art equipment and processes. Our goal continues to be to make the most innovative filaments on the market – targeting difficult end-use applications.
